Frank McDonald joined the Irish Times in 1979, becoming Environment Correspondent in 1986, a post which he held until he was appointed Environment Editor in 2000.

The Courthouse Gallery, which is part of the Courthouse Studios and Gallery, is a centre of artistic excellence and an integral part of Ennistymon and North Clare life. Five artists’ studios, a sound recording studio, a main art gallery, and the smaller Red Couch gallery space are based in the newly renovated building.
The Courthouse Gallery seeks to attract local and national audiences by exhibiting work by local, national, and international artists, mainly focusing on emerging artists.

Tuesday – Saturday, 12 – 5pm (June – Oct) and 12 – 4pm (Nov – May)
